Rebecca Germolus started Maximum Value Marketing in 1997. Working with small to medium-sized wineries, Rebecca focuses on finding creative, cost-effective marketing solutions for her clients. With years of experience in wine marketing and with large Silicon Valley companies, Rebecca brings a unique and balanced approach to marketing.
Rebecca works closely with her clients to help them develop an effective balance of trade, internet/catalogs, and consumer-direct marketing. Services include developing marketing plans, writing for trade, press or consumer audiences including brochures, tasting notes, tech sheets, newsletters, web sites, press kits, and more. She also works with designers and printers to produce POS and sell sheets or works closely with clients to develop simple, in-house desktop publishing pieces.

Biography, Elizabeth Slater
For almost a decade, Elizabeth "E" Slater has owned In Short Direct Marketing, working with wineries and winery associations.
E has extensive experience in sales, marketing, advertising and management in and out of the wine business.
She has been involved in marketing and sales management positions in such diverse industries as fast food, motorcycle, automotive,
medical and computer. Nine years in the motorcycle industry served as a good preparation for moving into the wine industry.
E is well known as the organizer and creator of many consumer marketing programs and events. The innovative and
diverse programs she creates continue to increase sales and recognition for clients.
In addition E works with individual wineries and winery associations throughout the United States presenting seminars
and workshops on all topics related to marketing, sales, customer service, staff training and team building.
She teaches Wine Marketing, Consumer Direct Wine Sales and Marketing and Wine & Food Public Relations at
Santa Rosa Junior College, writes a regular marketing column for Vineyard & Winery Management magazine
and is Public Relations Chair for the Sonoma County, California Tourism Council. E also judges wine for the
San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the West Coast Wine Competition and others.
